My 70cm ATV project,

This is the first step on 70cm ATV

Till now it was not possible with a "NOVICE" license to operate on the 70cm ATV band
NOW there has bin made some changes in the license.
There for I decided to build a 70cm ATV transmitter.
I was already receiving  the 3 - 13 - 23cm ATV band.
The idea was good, but that was only theoretically.
Thru internet I was trying to find websites with 70cm ATV information
but most amateurs have started with 3 - 13 - 23cm ATV

After a while searching on the internet and collecting links and information
I made a selection you will find at the bottom of this page.

At my work some time ago I collected 19" modules
the where perfect for this project.

After feedback from some other radio amateurs I started with my plan.
After some browsing on the internet I did find something interesting.

After searching the internet through Germany / England and America I landed
in Australia to find my transmitter + amplifier but also my audio kit.

New Updates from "MiniKits" April 2009

To receive there was a problem, how to find a TV receivers that will tune to the 70cm band.
I was lucky, I did find one at a Dutch shop with a S-band tuner.
"Marquant MCT-1494  13inch/ 37cm TV"

 TV data / info

The antenna is no problem, Tonna 20922 ATV antenna 21 elem 438MHz

All this looks simple, but it took me 3 weeks to find all the information I needed.
Now we are waiting for the goods to arrive from Australia.

In the mean time I will start to modify the (*)70cm Power Amplifier for the 70cm ATV band.
